I figured out what my original work proposal will be, and also watched research presentations this week in ISM. I have decided to conduct a research study on the legal factors that influence business’s success or failure. I will be examining multiple categories of businesses within the failures and successes either by the size of the company or the way it was incorporated in order to find a correlation. The results of the research study should help me in my future career when I want to work for a smaller company who is expanding internationally. Additionally, this week I watched my peers present their research findings on their topics so far. These presentations helped me to know how to formulate my presentation, which I will be presenting on Tuesday. I will mainly discuss the information I learned throughout my informational interviews and add on my research assessments if I have more time. I also hope within the next week that I can confirm my mentor so that I can begin my mentor visits. I also need to create my draft of my display board that will be used in January and I will also look into the color of the poster boards I can get before they are gone when all of the ISM kids go to get them.
