ABOUT ISM

Independent Study and Mentorship is a course that challenge students on a daily basis. Every student chooses a field to study and they conduct research and informational interviews. The class is offered to juniors and seniors and there is an application process each student must go through which includes evaluations, an interview, and an essay. Students are completely in charge of their education and will use their knowledge to create original work and a final project. Students often use the program to affirm a career interest and to gain firsthand experience before entering college.
