This has been a generally uneventful week in ISM. The major event we had this week was the ISM teacher appreciation breakfast to thank all of our teachers for allowing us to leave their classes to go on interviews and to functions such as the Business Symposium. I wrote to three individuals, two people I interviewed with, as well as an ISM alumni. I appreciate all of the professionals who came out to help with exposing ISM students to professional situations and mock interviews.
This week I have also been considering who I would like to ask to be my mentor. I completed all five of my interviews and now I am just trying to figure out who will be the best mentor for this year. On Monday I also completed my topic proposal to articulate my interest in international corporate law. I discussed the origin of my interest in the field and explained the skills and experiences I have that would make this career a viable option for my future. Next week in ISM I plan on asking one of the professionals I interviewed if they would like to be my mentor and also getting my digital portfolio up to date with all of my completed interview assessments and my résumé.
