I confirmed my mentor and also gave a speech on the research I have done so far, this week in ISM. Maria Wiemann, the Vice President and General Counsel of WorldLink agreed to be my mentor. I’m glad to finally have it confirmed and I appreciate her willingness to help me and guide me through my ISM journey. I expect to begin the mentor visits as soon as possible. Additionally, in ISM, I had to prepare and deliver a speech regarding my research so far in professional dress. I discussed all of my interviews so far, but my speech was over the time limit and I did not address my secondary research. I will need to revise my speech before next time. I also created my invitation for the Research Showcase in January and figured out who I am going to invite. The next step is to find a way to print the invitations in order to minimize the cost. Over the break, I plan on getting as much of my original work done as I can. I need to begin conducting preliminary research on the structure of companies before grouping the companies I want to study and gathering the data I need to analyze.
